How sweet it is!

Life has been good to us and we have been receiving many blessings. One of the greatest blessings is that we have each other. We have known each other a year now and it's amazing to see how much we have grown and continue to grow together. We love Florida weather and have been having a lot of fun at the beach on Saturdays. Scott even went snorkeling with some of our friends. That was a lot of fun for him and now he would like to become scuba certified so that he can go diving. We took a water taxi on the intercostals one Saturday too and it was amazing to see the million dollar houses and then the yachts too. It really was incredible!
We also took our first trip separate (which is never again to be repeated). Scott had a meeting in California for work and I went to visit my friends in DC. While the trip was fun for me and the meeting educational for him we missed each other and we would like to take those trips together in the future.
Other than that, we have been working with the missionaries in helping them teach the gospel and Scott has been able to help the elders quite a bit. He baptized Jeremy, a wonderful young man who makes a great addition to our YSA group. He is so excited about the gospel and everything and just makes everyone around him happy. We have also met some great friends through the missionaries, Gareth and Andrea. He is a member who has been less active and she is now taking the missionary lessons and they are just wonderful and we have so much fun with them. They are getting married in March and then he will baptize her. It's just amazing to see how the gospel works.
We have also been seeing other great blessings in our lives from living the gospel:
1. By paying tithing we have been blessed with so much. People have been coming out of nowhere telling us that they are getting rid of this or that and that we can have it! It's so amazing. So we now have a kitchen table, a queen size bed for the spare room and a TV! Yes we now have a TV. So talk about the blessings of tithing/
2. By going with the missionaries and helping them teach we met Gareth and Andrea. Not only have we found some great friends but Andrea helped me get a job working for the same business she works for. Gareth also referred us to his lawyer and now we have someone we will be working through to make sure the immigration process goes smoothly. We are so blessed!
We love the gospel and we will continue to strive to live it so that we can be happy and in turn bless the lives of those around us.
