37 weeks
I could not be more grateful for today. We have reached 37 weeks with the pregnancy, therefore being considered full term. With that, we are now off bed rest though I do not plan on resuming full activity just yet since I would like to see if we can make it just a little longer. This has been such a crazy, humbling, full of miracles ride! We went on bed rest at 18 weeks, at first modified and then full from 27 weeks on. We have had to adjust to not being able to do a lot outside the house as a family and have found great joy in things done together at home. We have had to have faith and trust that things would be OK and have been proving the doctors wrong for a long time. When we first started the bed rest, Scott gave me a blessing and in that blessing we were promised that our baby would be born full term, healthy and strong. Along the way, as we went to doctors appointments, the news was not always positive. 4 weeks ago, the doctor told us we would not make it through the week. Last week we were told we would not make it through the day. Yet we have seen and continue to see that the power of the Lord is above that of medicine. My faith has increased a hundred fold as I have witnessed a miracle very personal to our family. I know that the Lord is mindful of us and now, more than ever, I have experienced one of the greatest tender mercies. I am excited to meet our little one when the time comes but for now, I am enjoying being able to spend time with my little family, preparing to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

YAY! Congrats on making it full term! Now what will really be funny is if you go past your due date! That'd show them! :)
