Hi, my name is Laura and I am a sugarholic. I have been told the first step is admitting that I have a problem.
This is my confession...I LOVE SUGAR! Yes I do. And I mean LOVE IT! I don't think there is a day when I don't have sugar in some form. Now, don't worry, I have not yet eaten it straight out of the can but I do look for any dessert I can make with it. There is always brownie mix in my house, most of the time there are a few kinds of ice cream and there are always supplies for cookie making, So yes, I am addicted. My other addiction is soda (Diet DrPepper to be more specific). That has been one that has been driving Scott crazy since he is not really a soda drinker. So.... since I am aware of my addictions I am trying to see if I can make it the rest of the month with no deserts and no soda. That means 16 days. Oh boy, oh boy this will be interesting. Wish me luck!

i guess sugary fruits would be a nice and healthier replacement if you feel like giving in due to lowered blood sugar...
I do wish you luck, but I also know it is hard. I just tried to go two weeks on something similar and I decided I didn't want to do it anymore. Make sure you are substituting a lot of fruit because your sweet tooth will be going nuts.
Once Oliver made fun of me because we had all the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies, but nothing to make dinner with. So as long as you are still able to feed yourself and your family real food, then you're doing okay! Don't get down on yourself if you don't make it, but know that trying is a great step.
ok. I am joining you. Seriously the diet soda thing and that sugar thing...I feel like it cancels eachother out right!?! ha if I don't drink my sugar than I can eat it?! I know totally contorted. So here we go 16 days to go!!!!
